DG has over 30 years of experience co-founding, leading, and acquiring multiple businesses in various industries. His industry experience includes travel management, technology, publishing, manufacturing, professional sports, and staffing. DG’s degrees include a B.B.A. from Southern Methodist University, an M.B.A. from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University, and a law degree from the Maurer School of Law at Indiana University. D.G. and his wife, Gini, live in Bloomington, Indiana, and have six children. DG is the Chair of The Navigators’ U.S. Board of Directors, an international Christian organization.

Todd is the president of DecisionTree Resources. He began his career in the travel industry after serving as an officer in the U.S. Army. Over 20 years of acquiring companies has allowed him to gain experience in a broad range of industries, to include technology, staffing, legal, publishing, professional sports, real estate and forestry among others. His role is to search for and acquire firms that fit the objectives of the Elmore Companies. Todd lives in Wheaton, IL with his wife and two children. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Indiana University.

Lauren Elmore, Principal

Principal

Lauren is President and part owner of Firmatek, as well as Vice President and part owner of both Bellwether Forestry Products and Turner Mining Group. Lauren has been a principal involved in six deals in the previous two years. Lauren has a background in finance and law. Prior to Firmatek, while pursuing her JD/MBA, she spent two summers at Dallas private equity firm glendonTodd Capital, LLC where she worked on deals in the technology and real estate industries. Lauren also worked as a Consulting Associate at Cambridge Associates where she advised clients on asset allocation, manager selection, and spending. Lauren received a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University in 2008, and received her J.D. and M.B.A. with honors from Indiana University in 2014.

Gant Elmore, Principal

Principal

Gant is Vice President and part owner of Firmatek. Firmatek uses drones and mobile lidar to provide inventory measurement and mapping services for the mining and solid waste industries. Gant is also part owner of Bellwether Forest Products, a full service timber harvester in South Carolina, and of Turner Mining Group, a contract mining company that performs a full spectrum of mining services. Gant has a background in finance and law, including both his J.D. and M.B.A, a summer working for Morgan Stanley in New York City, and a summer at private equity firm glendonTodd Capital in Dallas, TX. Prior to pursuing his J.D. and M.B.A. at Indiana University, Gant was drafted by played in the Milwaukee Brewers minor league system, where he played for a year. Gant received a B.A. in Economics from Yale University in 2011, and received his J.D. and M.B.A. with honors from Indiana University in 2016.

Peter Rumley, CFO

Peter is a numbers guy who loves to research and bring clarity to finance and tax issues to help decision-makers make informed decisions. He started his accounting career as an auditor at Deloitte, one of the ‘Big Four’ global accounting firms, giving him exposure to advising on a broad range of technical issues across several industries. It also gave him a disciplined approach to financial reporting and analysis, with a focus on efficiency. Peter is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, and holds certifications as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Certified in Financial Management (CFM). Typical of detail-focused CPA’s, he graduated summa cum laude with both of his degrees, earning a BA in Economics and Accounting from Aquinas College, and a MS in Accounting from Grand Valley State University. Peter lives in Bloomington, Indiana with his wife and five kids.

Lori Thomas is a seasoned Corporate Secretary and Director of Administration with over 25 years experience at Elmore Companies. As our Corporate Secretary she ensures the integrity of our companies’ compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Lori serves as a resource for principals and senior management, maintaining key corporate records. She works directly with the Chairman of Elmore Companies and the Elmore Family Office. As an extension of the Elmore Family, Lori is able to master the calendar, anticipate the needs, create and master systems, and respect family confidentiality. Most recently, Lori represented the group during the two-year construction of a $15M mixed use building and related sales process, and has served as President for one of the direct investment companies.

Jeffrey C. Jones of Bloomington, IN is CEO and Chairman of Solution Tree, Inc. which delivers comprehensive professional development to K-12 educators around the world. Jeff and his business partner DG Elmore purchased Solution Tree in 1998, established Solution Tree Canada 2004, Marzano Research 2008 and Solution Tree Australia 2014. Jeff sits on the US Board of Directors of The Navigators, the International Board of Trans World Radio and Rachel’s Challenge. He and his wife Margaret have been married since 1996 and have been blessed with four children.

Mat Orrego has worked in the software and travel industry for 20 years as CEO and founder of Cornerstone Information Systems. A graduate of Indiana University Kelly School of Business, Mat co-founded Cornerstone, an application and data management company. Cornerstone is a global leader in travel automation technology for companies seeking to automate their travel fulfillment, procurement, and business intelligence processes. Mat is also an avid investor in a variety of enterprises including technology, manufacturing, and services businesses. He makes his home in Bloomington, Indiana where he and his wife Beverly enjoy the good life of living in a Midwest university town surrounded by friends and family.

Randy is the CEO of Adams & Westlake and Legacy Fire Inspections. Randy is a graduate of Indiana University. After a brief stint in the National Football League, Randy began his business career in the Vinyl Window and Siding industry as a Sales Manager for 7 years. In 2004, Randy partnered with DG Elmore and became the President and owner of Adams & Westlake. He and his wife Julie have been married since 1991 and have been blessed with one daughter and three sons. They are involved with Granger Community Church, The Navigators and Back2Back Ministries. Randy enjoys watching his kids sporting events and spending time on the lake.

Frank Violi graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Economics in 1980. He then graduated from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management with an MBA in 1983, where he was named an F.C. Austin Scholar. Violi began his professional life in the Forest Products Industry, working for two Fortune 500 companies as a financial analyst, sales representative, strategic planning director, regional sales manager, and vice president of sales and marketing. After 10 years in Forest Products, he joined a leverage buyout of a large commercial printing company, as vice president of sales and marketing. Upon successful completion of the sale of the printing business, he purchased an interest in an electronics manufacturer. As president, he expanded this contract manufacturer via acquisition and the establishment of a plant in Mexico. After selling this business, he searched for another business to buy.

Patrick Linnihan is the President and CEO of Gant Travel Management. Patrick previously served as the Vice President of Gant from August 1998 to June 2002 and returned to Gant as President in May 2005. Additional previous work experience includes leadership and sales roles with GE Medical Systems and Pfizer. Patrick is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, a former U.S. Army officer and holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Patrick loves guns, God, Old Glory, Irish whiskey, the Indy 500, rocket science and his family; he spends his time accordingly.

Adam Taranto is the President of Mednick Associates. After serving in the Navy after college, Adam, a native of the metro Boston area, spent a few years in the Fortune 500 corporate world in various financial and strategic planning positions. While gaining valuable experience, he was looking for something beyond the normal corporate job. Adam started working with the Elmore Group by assisting with M&A activity and currently serves as an operating partner. In the last 3 years Mednick Associates has completed a successful transition from the previous owner, nationalized the client base and is recognized as a regional leader in the medical-legal consulting industry. Adam completed an undergraduate degree at Northwestern University, as well as a Masters degree in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University. Married, with 3 young children, Adam enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading anything political or historical in nature and relentlessly following all Boston sports teams.

Keaton Turner, President - Turner Mining Group

Keaton is a Bloomington native who lived on the same street as the Elmore's during his childhood. He grew up playing basketball and baseball with Gant and was a classmate to Callie. He attended Bloomington High School South where he was a member of the basketball and golf teams before graduating in 2008. He went on to Indiana State University to pursue Construction Management and Business Administration degrees. Keaton was a member of the Sigma Lambda Chi Construction Honors Society and served on Indiana State University's Construction Management advisory board after graduating in 2012. He met and started dating his future wife a few weeks into their freshmen year at ISU and got married a few weeks after graduating in 2012. They have two children, Andrew and Grace. Keaton and Shelby are members of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church and have been actively involved with Campus Outreach since joining their freshmen year of college. Keaton helped build a small family earthmoving business from 35 employees to over 150 employees before co-founding Turner Mining Group in 2017. In his free time Keaton enjoys golfing, fishing and taking long, romantic walks around the mine sites.

Matt Moldenhauer is President of Bellwether Forest Products, based in Columbia, South Carolina. Prior to joining Bellwether, Matt worked at Bain & Company in Chicago, IL advising C-suite executives and senior leaders on long-term growth strategies, performance improvement and organizational change, with a focus in the industrial and healthcare sectors. Previously, Matt worked at Quad/Graphics, serving in a variety of roles including sales, operations and ultimately pricing where he developed long-term print and paper contracts for a $250 million portfolio of magazine and catalog clients. While at Quad, he was part of multiple special project teams including the industry’s largest ever post-merger integration and the commercial development and launch of QuadMed, QuadGraphic's employer on-site healthcare service subsidiary. Matt earned his Bachelor of Science with honors at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse in 2007 and a Masters of Business Administration at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 2013.

Founder - Block Torch Capital

Brock attended the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of business, before choosing to pursue Block Torch Capital full-time in his senior year. Brock developed his proprietary machine-learning modeling algorithm while studying Penn, as what started as a natural passion project to greater understand and work with blockchain technology transformed into a powerful business opportunity. He plans to leverage Block Torch to invest in and help develop new blockchain applications and technologies. Brock currently lives in Philadelphia, though he will soon move to Bloomington with his soon-to-be wife, Alexis.
